A different kind of vehicle hire
meridianece opened in 2019 with a straightforward observation: Singapore has some genuinely interesting roads that most residents and visitors rarely take. The team behind it — people with backgrounds in boutique hospitality and ground logistics — felt there was space for a vehicle hire service built around the quality of each individual booking, rather than the volume of them.
The name reflects the idea of a midpoint — positioned between the formality of a chauffeur service and the simplicity of a standard car hire. Considered, but not stiff. Attentive, but not intrusive. The office sits on Orchard Road, central enough to be convenient, and close to several of the routes the team most often recommends.
Since opening, meridianece has served a range of clients: visitors who want to see more of the island than the MRT allows, residents marking a personal occasion, and corporate guests who value a quiet, well-prepared vehicle for a day of meetings or appointments. The services have changed only slightly over the years — refined rather than expanded, based on what clients have actually found useful.
The team is small by choice. A smaller operation means each booking receives proper attention — from the vehicle preparation through to the day itself. That is the trade-off, and one the team stands by.

Background in boutique hospitality across Singapore and the region. Has lived in Singapore for over two decades and brought that knowledge of the city into how meridianece approaches each booking.

Fleet Operations
Twelve years in automotive maintenance and fleet management. Responsible for vehicle sourcing, upkeep schedules, and the handover quality checks that run before every booking.
Priya Wongsuwan
Client Relations
Joined meridianece in 2021. Handles bookings, correspondence, and route suggestions. Priya is typically the first point of contact for new enquiries and works with clients to get the details right.
How we operate
Standards and protocols
Pre-Booking Vehicle Checks
Every vehicle is inspected before a booking — exterior and interior condition, mechanical readiness, tyre pressure, fluid levels, and cleanliness. If a vehicle does not meet our standard on the day, it is not sent out.
Driver Standards
meridianece drivers hold valid Class 3 licences and are familiar with Singapore's road regulations. For guided tours, drivers are also briefed on the route and points of interest ahead of each booking.
Client Data Handling
Personal information is collected only for booking purposes and is not shared with third parties. We comply with Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA) and review our data handling practices regularly.
Insurance Coverage
All hire arrangements include third-party insurance as a minimum. The Day-Rate Self-Drive includes comprehensive cover. Policy documentation is provided with each booking confirmation.
Clear Communication
We confirm bookings in writing, send reminders before the date, and follow up afterwards. If something changes on our side — vehicle availability, timing — we notify the client as soon as we know.

meridianece is a registered partner with the Singapore Tourism Board, meeting the operational and quality standards required for businesses serving both local and visiting clients across Singapore.

meridianece operates from Ngee Ann City on Orchard Road and serves clients across the island. Whether the purpose is sightseeing, an occasion, or simply needing a reliable vehicle for the day, the team works to ensure the arrangement is right for what the client actually needs — not a standard package fitted to their situation after the fact.
Enquiries are handled directly by the team, with no automated systems between you and the person managing your booking. Response times are typically within a few hours on working days, and the team is available to answer questions before you confirm anything.
